Palace

Alternative rock blending melancholic guitars, atmospheric soundscapes and emotional songwriting

Palace blend alternative rock with indie rock, blues influences and atmospheric guitar sounds. Their sound is characterised by warm guitars, dynamic arrangements and Leo Wyndham’s distinctive voice. Their songs often alternate between quiet, dreamy passages and more powerful, emotional climaxes.

Thematically, Palace explore love, relationships, loss, self-doubt and personal change. The lyrics often have an introspective quality and draw on experiences from different stages of life. This creates a melancholic yet hopeful atmosphere that is closely intertwined with the band’s organic sound.

Performed live, the music creates a particularly intense and atmospheric effect. Calm moments alternate with driving guitar riffs and powerful emotional outbursts, whilst the band focuses on delivering an immediate and authentic stage presence. This creates a concert experience that can feel both intimate and powerful.

Palace have forged their own musical identity within the British indie and alternative scene. Their blend of emotional songwriting, atmospheric rock and intricate arrangements particularly appeals to fans of sophisticated guitar music. The band is known for a modern alternative rock sound that combines melancholy with musical warmth.
