Kerala Dust is a British band that was founded in London in 2016. Their sound combines electronic music with analogue instruments, creating a unique mix of club atmosphere and introspective depth. Influenced by artists such as Tom Waits, CAN and DJ Koze, they create a style that moves between downtempo, blues, indie and techno. Their music is often hypnotic, driving and at the same time laid back - ideal for both dark dancefloors and late-night car journeys.
The band consists of Edmund Kenny (vocals, production), Lawrence Howarth (guitar) and Pascal Karier (drums). Kerala Dust deliberately focus on organic elements in their live performances by interpreting electronic tracks live with guitar and drums. This hybrid sound has earned them international appearances at festivals and clubs around the world, from Berlin to Mexico City.
