In 2021, KANONENFIEBER released their debut album "Menschenmühle". Since then, the band has completed several highly successful tours, and their elaborate, dramatic live shows have left audiences mesmerised and speechless at renowned festivals such as Summer Breeze, Party.San and Dong Open Air.
KANONENFIEBER was founded in 2020 by singer Noise after he read his late great-grandfather's diary, which he had written at the front during the First World War. Apart from memories, it was the only thing that remained of him.
The concept developed by the band emphasises authenticity. The texts and language are based on reports, letters and other historical documents.
The band members deliberately remain anonymous, which serves as an allusion to the "Tomb of the Unknown Soldier", a monument that commemorates soldiers who have died in wars in various countries around the world. The horrors of war are omnipresent.
