The five dynamic Norwegians from Kakkmaddafakka are true touring professionals and seem to be tireless. They proved this once again with their seventh album "Revelation". This album continues the development that began on "Diplomacy" (2019), which had a much more electronic sound than the previous album "Hus" (2017). Kakkmaddafakka shows once again that they can develop their sound without losing their roots. In particular, the increasing use of synthesizers has characterised their sound in recent years. Stylistically, they orientate themselves on various older genres without neglecting the fun factor. Modern pop sounds like in the opener "Sixth Gear" alternate with new wave borrowings like in "Good Guy" or disco beats like in "Horses Are Running", while always retaining their unique kakk sound.
