Gossip

Gossip is a three-piece band from Arkansas and Washington that plays a mixture of disco and rock music. It was founded in Olympia in 1999 and consists of singer Beth Ditto, multi-instrumentalist Brace Paine and drummer Hannah Blilie. The band members now live in Portland.
The group was influenced by the Riot Grrrl movement from Olympia (Washington) and feminism. The trio disbanded in 2016, but made a comeback in mid-November 2023. Their new album "Real Power", produced by Rick Rubin, was released on 22 March. The single "Crazy Again" is an instant hit that leaves the dance-heavy path of the last album and has an urgency not heard for a long time.
