The Dead Daisies

The Dead Daisies are an Australian-American hard rock band formed in Sydney, Australia in 2012. The band is sometimes referred to as a supergroup as its members include a number of musicians who have performed with other high profile acts such as Guns N' Roses, Noiseworks, Rob Zombie, The Cult, The Rolling Stones and Thin Lizzy.

The founding members were singer Jon Stevens and guitarist David Lowy. They came together after the former manager of the group INXS, David Edwards, introduced them to each other. The self-titled debut album was recorded in 2012 at Wishbone Studios in Los Angeles under the direction of American producer and sound engineer John Fields. It was released in the USA on 9 August 2013 and in Europe in November 2013.

The band has undergone numerous line-up changes over the years. The band currently consists of singer and guitarist John Corabi (2015-2019, since 2023), guitarist Doug Aldrich (since 2016), guitarist David Lowy and drummer Brian Tichy (2015-2019, since 2022).

The Dead Daisies are known for their energetic live performances and have toured with many renowned bands throughout their career. They have also released several albums that have been well received by critics and fans alike.

Despite the many line-up changes, The Dead Daisies have maintained their unique sound and passion for rock music. They are a testament to the continued vitality and relevance of hard rock in the modern musical landscape.
