The Corrs

The Corrs are an Irish band that rose to international fame in the 1990s. The group consists of siblings Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim Corr and combines traditional Irish folk elements with contemporary pop and rock. Their debut album "Forgiven, Not Forgotten" (1995) was a great success and presented hits like "Runaway"which established the characteristic mixture of Celtic melodies and catchy pop hooks.

With the follow-up album "Talk on Corners" (1997) was The Corrs' breakthrough. Songs like "What Can I Do" and "So Young" became international hits, and the band gained great recognition for their harmonious vocals and instrumental virtuosity. Their album "In Blue" (2000) brought with "Breathless" The band's worldwide chart success cemented their status as one of Ireland's most successful bands.

The band is known for their live shows, in which they seamlessly integrate traditional Irish instruments such as tin whistle and fiddle into their pop arrangements. Alongside their music, The Corrs are committed to charity and social causes. After a break, the group returned in 2015 with the album "White Light" and remains a celebrated figure in the musical landscape to this day.
