Subway to Sally

Subway to Sally is a German medieval rock band that was founded in 1992. Originally inspired by folk and rock influences, their style quickly developed into a unique blend of metal, folk, medieval and gothic elements. Characteristic of the band are their German-language lyrics, which are often characterised by myths, legends and dark stories.

With albums like Wedding (1999), Angel warrior (2003) and North North East (2005), Subway to Sally established themselves as one of the leading bands in the German medieval rock scene. Their energetic sound, characterised by violins, bagpipes and heavy guitar riffs, earned them a loyal fan base and numerous festival appearances, including the Wacken Open Air and the M'era Luna Festival.
