Samu Haber

Samu Haber is a Finnish musician, songwriter and frontman of the successful band Sunrise Avenue. Born on 2 April 1976 in Helsinki, Finland, he is best known for his charismatic stage presence and distinctive voice. Sunrise Avenue was founded in 2002 and with their breakthrough album On the Way to Wonderland (2006) was their international breakthrough. The hit "Fairytale Gone Bad" made the band famous throughout Europe and established them as a permanent fixture on the rock and pop scene.

Alongside his career with Sunrise Avenue Samu Haber is also known as a solo artist and TV personality. He gained additional popularity in Germany in particular through his role as a coach in the casting show The Voice of Germanywhere he gained a broad fan base with his likeable and humorous manner. His involvement in the show, which he did for several years, strengthened his connection to the German public and helped him to become a household name outside the music scene as well.

Samu Haber released his first solo album in 2020 Pelastetaan Maailmawhich was recorded in Finnish and shows a very personal side of the artist. It marks a new stage in his musical career, while Sunrise Avenue announced their farewell tour in the same year, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With a multi-faceted career spanning music, television and personal projects, Samu Haber remains one of the most popular and versatile figures on the European music scene.
