Roland Kaiser

Roland Kaiser is one of Germany's most successful and best-known pop singers. Born on 10 May 1952 in Berlin, Kaiser began his musical career in the 1970s and quickly became an icon of German pop music. With his distinctive, deep voice and romantic songs, he made a lasting impression on the genre and was able to build up a loyal fan base over the decades.

His breakthrough came in 1976 with the song "Verde (Frei, das heißt allein)", but his definitive rise to stardom came in 1980 with the hit "Santa Maria", which sold millions of copies and dominated the charts in Germany and other German-speaking countries. In the following years, Kaiser released a series of further hits such as "Dich zu lieben", "Joana" and "Lieb mich ein letztes Mal", all of which became classics of the genre.
