Ricky Gervais

Ricky Gervais, born on 25 June 1961 in Reading, England, is a multi-talented entertainer who is best known as a comedian, actor, screenwriter and director. He achieved his international breakthrough with the ground-breaking mockumentary series "The Office" (2001-2003), which he developed together with Stephen Merchant and in which he played the role of the unpleasantly charming boss David Brent. The series won numerous awards and is considered one of the most influential comedy productions in television history.
