Rema

Rema, real name Divine Ikubor, is a Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter who is considered one of the leading artists of the Afrobeats movement. Born in 2000 in Benin City, Nigeria, he was recognised in 2019 with his debut hit Dumebi famous. The song brought him international attention and a contract with Mavin Records.

With his unique style, which combines Afrobeats, trap and R&B, Rema has revolutionised the Nigerian music scene. His debut album Rave & Roses (2022) contained worldwide hits such as Calm Downwhich became even more popular thanks to a remix with Selena Gomez. The song topped the charts in several countries and made him a global star.

Rema sees himself as a pioneer of the so-called "Afro-Rave" sound and stands out with his innovative approach to music, his melodic hooks and his futuristic style.
