Parkway Drive

**Parkway Drive** is an Australian metalcore band formed in 2003 in Byron Bay, New South Wales. The band consists of Winston McCall (vocals), Jeff Ling (guitar), Luke Kilpatrick (guitar), Jia O'Connor (bass) and Ben Gordon (drums). Known for their energetic live performances and powerful, aggressive sound, Parkway Drive have established themselves as one of the most successful bands in modern metalcore. Their style combines heavy guitar riffs, fast drums and emotionally charged lyrics, often with socially critical and personal themes.

With their debut album *Killing with a Smile* (2005) and the follow-up *Horizons* (2007), Parkway Drive quickly attracted international attention in the metal scene. They continued to build on their success and developed their sound with albums such as *Deep Blue* (2010) and *Atlas* (2012), which combined heavier metalcore elements with melodic, almost epic passages.
