Money Boy

Money Boy, real name Sebastian Meisinger, is an Austrian rapper who became known for his humorous and provocative style. Born on 27 June 1981 in Vienna, he succeeded in 2010 with the song Turn up the swag which quickly became a viral hit and a defining moment for the German-speaking hip-hop scene. The track, inspired by US trap music, earned him both critical acclaim and cult status.

In the following years, Money Boy established himself as an independent force in the rap game and released numerous mixtapes and albums, including SWAG (2011) and Money Motivated Muzik (2018). His musical style is characterised by trap-heavy beats, striking ad-libs and an often ironic approach to luxury and party themes.
