Marteria, real name Marten Laciny, is one of the most influential voices in modern German hip-hop. Born in Rostock, he has firmly established himself in the German-language music scene with his unique mix of clever lyrics, profound themes and catchy beats. Marteria celebrated his big breakthrough in 2010 with the album "Happily into the future"which contained hits such as "Verstrahlt". At the latest with "Kids (2 fingers to the head)" and the album "Happily into the future II" he became one of the most successful German rappers of his generation. His alter-ego projects under the name Marsimotoin which he explores more experimental and psychedelic sounds, show his artistic versatility.
