Lizzy McAlpine, whose full name is Elizabeth Catherine McAlpine, was born on 21 September 1999 and is an American singer-songwriter. She was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia and began her musical career by sharing original songs and covers on platforms such as SoundCloud and YouTube.
In 2020, she released her debut studio album, Give Me a Minute, which was highly praised by critics. Her second album, Five Seconds Flat (2022), earned her her first appearance on both the US Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100 charts with the TikTok viral single “Ceilings”. After signing with RCA Records in 2023, McAlpine announced her third studio album, Older, which is set to be released on 5 April 2024.
Her father passed away in mid-March 2020. She dedicated the song “Headstones and Land Mines” on her first album “Give Me a Minute” and the song “Chemtrails” on her second album „Five Seconds Flat“ to him.
