Grain

Korn is an American nu-metal band from Bakersfield, California, that was founded in 1993. The band is often regarded as one of the founders of the genre and has built a massive following with their unique blend of aggressive guitar riffs, dark lyrics and experimental sounds. Their debut album "Grain" (1994) is considered groundbreaking and brought songs like "Blind"which became anthems of the emerging nu-metal.

The band consists of Jonathan Davis (vocals), James "Munky" Shaffer (guitar), Brian "Head" Welch (guitar), Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu (bass) and Ray Luzier (drums). Korn became known for their introspective and emotionally charged lyrics, often dealing with themes of pain, trauma and personal struggles. Albums like "Follow the Leader" (1998) and "Issues" (1999) catapulted the band to international fame, with hits such as "Freak on a Leash" and "Falling Away from Me" stormed the charts.
