KC Rebel

KC Rebelborn Hüseyin Kökseçen, is a German rapper with Kurdish roots who was born in Essen. He is one of the best-known artists in the German hip-hop scene and is known for his powerful lyrics, versatile beats and catchy hooks. KC Rebell began his career in the underground and developed into a successful mainstream artist whose albums regularly storm the charts.

KC Rebell made his breakthrough in 2013 with the album "Banger Rebel"which laid the foundation for his close collaboration with the label Banger Musik, whose crew also includes Kollegah and Farid Bang. This was followed by hits such as "Hearing" and "Everything & Nothing"which demonstrated his ability to combine personal themes such as family, origins and self-doubt with socio-critical content. His unique style combines hard punchlines with melodic elements that are characterised by pop and oriental influences.

KC Rebell's greatest successes include albums such as "Fata Morgana" (2015) and "Hasso" (2019), which has been honoured with multiple gold and platinum status.
