Imminence

Imminence is a Swedish metalcore band that was founded in 2010 and inspires with its unique style of powerful metal and emotional, atmospheric elements. The band consists of Eddie Berg (vocals and violin), Harald Barrett (guitar), Alex Arnoldsson (guitar), Christian Höijer (bass) and Peter Hanström (drums). Particularly noteworthy is Eddie Berg's use of the violin, which gives many of their songs a special depth and a melancholy note.

With their third album, the band received Turn The Light On (2019) attracted international attention. The album combines energetic breakdowns with introspective, melodic passages and emotional lyrics that often deal with personal and existential themes. With songs like Infectious and Paralyzed the band demonstrates their ability to fuse intense heaviness and gentle melancholy.

Their current album Heaven in Hiding (2021) emphasises their development and love of experimentation, with epic arrangements and powerful performances.
