Dirkschneider

The name DIRKSCHNEIDER stands for more than just the second incarnation of U.D.O., Udo Dirkschneider's band. This formation pays tribute exclusively to the musical past of its legendary founder and singer. For many years, Udo, like Peter Baltes, who has now taken over bass duties in U.D.O., was a key songwriter in the success of the pioneering band ACCEPT, which he himself founded in the 1970s. Among other things, the groundbreaking album "Balls To The Wall" was written during this time.

The motto "Balls To The Wall" definitely fits the current line-up of DIRKSCHNEIDER, which includes the rhythmic clockwork Sven Dirkschneider and the gifted guitarists Andrey Smirnov and Fabian "Dee" Dammers. It is therefore extremely fitting that the 40th anniversary of ACCEPT's best-selling and best-known studio album, originally released at the end of 1983, fell right in the middle of the band's heyday. For this reason, the band would naturally like to perform the entire record live to celebrate this anniversary in style - during their tour in spring 2025!
