Dayseeker

Dayseeker is an American post-hardcore band that was founded in 2012 in Orange County, California. The band consists of vocalist Rory Rodriguez, guitarist Gino Sgambelluri, bassist Ramone Valerio and drummer Mike Karle. They are currently signed to Spinefarm Records and have released five studio albums.

The band was founded in 2012 by Rory Rodriguez, guitarists Alex Polk and Gino Sgambelluri, bassist Andrew Sharp and drummer Mike Karle. Rodriguez and Polk previously played together in the band Arms Like Yours.

Their debut album "What It Means to Be Defeated" was released in 2013. It was mastered by Joey Sturgis and later re-released in 2014 with three acoustic tracks. Tom Denney, the former guitarist of A Day to Remember, was involved in the production of the new edition of the album.

Their second album "Origin" was released in 2015. It was produced by Nick Ingram, who has also worked with Hotel Books and Before Their Eyes. The album was reissued with additional material, including two cover songs and five reinterpretations of previously released tracks.

Her latest studio album "Dark Sun" was released on 4 November 2022. It contains very personal themes for the singer, in particular the death of his father.
