Cypress Hill

Cypress Hill is an American hip-hop group that was founded in 1988 in South Gate, California. The group consists of B-Real (Louis Freese), DJ Muggs (Lawrence Muggerud) and Sen Dog (Senen Reyes). They are known for their unique style, which combines influences from Latin and gangsta rap.

Their self-titled debut album "Cypress Hill" was released in 1991 and was an instant success. It contained the hit singles "How I Could Just Kill a Man" and "Hand on the Pump". Their second album "Black Sunday" contained the hit "Insane in the Brain", which became one of their best-known songs.

Cypress Hill is known for their socially critical lyrics and their support for the legalisation of marijuana. They were the first Latino-American hip-hop group to release platinum and multi-platinum albums.

Over the course of their career, they have released several albums and are one of the longest running and most influential groups in the hip-hop scene.
