Cannibal Corpse is an American death metal band that was founded in 1988 in Buffalo, New York. The founding members were Chris Barnes (vocals), Jack Owen (guitar), Bob Rusay (guitar), Alex Webster (bass) and Paul Mazurkiewicz (drums). George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher has been the band's singer since 1995.
The band is known for its technical complexity and complex song structures. They have released sixteen studio albums to date. Their latest album "Chaos Horrific" was released on 22 September 2023.
Cannibal Corpse has had little radio or television presence over the course of their existence, despite building a cult following. Despite their controversies and challenges, Cannibal Corpse remains one of the most influential bands in the death metal scene.
