Broilers

The Broilers are a German rock band from Düsseldorf that was founded in 1992 and has developed over the years from a punk band into one of the most successful representatives of German-language rock music. The group, consisting of frontman and singer Sammy Amara, bassist Ines Maybaum, drummer Andi Brügge, keyboardist Chris Kubczak and guitarist Ron Huber, combine punk rock, ska, rockabilly and pop music influences in their music.

With albums like Santa Muerte (2011) and Noir (2014), they reached a wide audience and established themselves in the German music scene. Noir even reached number 1 in the German album charts and showed the band at the height of their artistic maturity. Their lyrics are often political, socially critical or emotional, while at the same time radiating melancholy and a positive mood.

The Broilers are known for their energetic live performances that create a strong connection with their fans. Big festivals and sold-out tours are proof of their popularity.
