Berq

After a somewhat quieter phase, Berq is back in the spotlight this year: not only will he be performing at around 20 festivals, he has also announced his first own headline tour for the end of 2024. Twelve tour stops are planned in Germany, Austria and Switzerland between November and mid-December.

"Original, fresh, courageous, bold" - these were the words used by old master Herbert Grönemeyer in April 2023 to describe a group of young artists who were currently inspiring him. Among them was Berq, a musician who had only released two songs at the time. But things changed rapidly in the festival summer of 2023: Berq wowed audiences with his EP "Rote Flaggen" and played 14 shows across Germany.

Since then, he has accompanied successful artists such as Paula Hartmann, Schmyt, ENNIO and Jeremias on tour, sung on "Inas Nacht" in Hamburg and finally made his breakthrough with an appearance on Jan Böhmermann's "ZDF Magazin Royale" with the Rundfunk Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld.
