Nico Santos

German-Spanish pop star with an international sound

Nico Santos, whose real name is Nico Wellenbrink, was born on 7 January 1993 in Bremen and grew up in Mallorca. He came into contact with music at an early age through his musical family and quickly discovered his passion for songwriting and the stage. He presented his own songs and cover versions on YouTube at a young age, which brought him his first attention.

Santos celebrated his commercial breakthrough in 2016 with the hit "Home", a collaboration with DJ Topic. This was followed by numerous successful singles such as "Rooftop", "Safe" and "Would I Lie To You", with which he established himself as a permanent fixture in German-language pop. His debut album Streets of Gold was released in 2018, followed by the self-titled second album 2020 and the album Ride in the year 2023.

In addition to his solo career, Nico Santos also writes for other artists and has been a coach on "The Voice of Germany" several times. He stands for catchy pop melodies with an international sound and a personal touch - and inspires a wide audience with his mixture of energy, emotion and authenticity.
