I Prevail - From viral hit to metalcore greatness

I Prevail is an American rock band from Southfield, Michigan, which was founded in 2013. The band experienced their breakthrough in 2014 with a metalcore cover version of the pop hit "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift. The powerful and emotional cover was clicked millions of times on YouTube and helped the band gain a lot of attention in the scene overnight.

The viral success was followed by the release of their debut EP in 2014 Heart vs. Mind. With a mixture of post-hardcore, metalcore and melodic choruses, the band struck a chord with many listeners. Their first studio album was released in 2016 Lifelineswhich immediately achieved high chart positions and further expanded her fan base.

With albums like Trauma (2019) and True Power (2022), I Prevail established themselves as a permanent fixture in modern metalcore.
