Yaenniver, real name Jennifer Weist, is a German singer and songwriter who is best known as the frontwoman of the rock band Jennifer Rostock. After the end of the band in 2018, she launched her solo career under the name Yaenniver in 2021, revealing a completely new musical side. Instead of rock sounds, she now favours a mixture of pop, hip-hop and electronic beats, accompanied by honest and direct lyrics.
With their debut single Intro and the album Naked (2021), she presented herself unfiltered and vulnerable, talking about topics such as self-doubt, feminism and personal challenges.
