Fridayy, real name Francis Leblanc, is a Haitian-American singer, songwriter and producer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He began playing various instruments such as the piano, bass and guitar at the age of six, finding his musical roots in the church environment.
In 2022, Fridayy signed a contract with Def Jam Recordings and rose to fame with his collaboration on Lil Baby's song "Forever" and on the title track of DJ Khaled's album "God Did" greater awareness. Both titles reached the top 20 of the US Billboard Hot 100, with "God Did" also received three Grammy nominations.
His debut EP "Lost in Melody" released Fridayy in October 2022, followed by his first studio album "Some Days I'm Good... Some Days I'm Not" in the year 2023. With the single "When It Comes to You" he achieved his first chart success as a main artist, which was honoured with platinum.
Fridayy's music is characterised by a blend of soulful R&B and modern production techniques, often exploring personal and emotional themes. His versatility as a singer and producer has earned him collaborations with artists such as Chris Brown, Lil Baby and DJ Khaled.
