Fritz Kalkbrenner is a German musician, singer and producer known for his unique mix of electronic music and soulful vocals. Born in Berlin in 1981, he grew up in a city that was strongly influenced by club culture and the development of electronic music. Nevertheless, he brought his very own style to the genre from the very beginning, combining warm house beats with his distinctive, emotional voice.
Fritz Kalkbrenner celebrated his big breakthrough in 2008 with the song "Sky and Sand"which he released together with his brother Paul Kalkbrenner. The track, which is part of the soundtrack to the film Berlin Calling became an international hit and stayed in the charts for years. But Fritz Kalkbrenner also established himself as a solo artist independently of this success.
