Bausa

Bausa, real name Julian Otto, is a German rapper, singer and songwriter who has left his mark on the German-speaking music scene with his mix of hip-hop, trap and melodic vocals. Born in Saarbrücken in 1989 and raised in Bietigheim-Bissingen, he began his career with classic rap elements before developing his own style with melodic hooks and profound lyrics.

Bausa celebrated his big breakthrough in 2017 with the single "What you call love"which became one of the most successful German songs of recent years. The track broke records, remained at the top of the charts for several weeks and was honoured with diamond status. His debut album Three-colour house showed his versatility between street rap, pop and emotional ballads.

In the following years, Bausa established himself with further hits such as "Mary", "Fever" (with Juju) and "Madonna" (with Zuna) as a permanent fixture in the German music business. With his label Two Sides he also promotes up-and-coming talent. His style combines catchy melodies with honest, often melancholic lyrics that set him apart from many other rappers.
