Wizkid (real name Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun) is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and one of the most important artists of the Afrobeats movement. Born in Lagos in 1990, he began making music at a young age and was recognised in 2011 with his debut album Superstar and hits like Holla at Your Boy known. His music combines Afrobeats with R&B, reggae and hip-hop and has earned him worldwide recognition.
