Nemo Mettler, known as Nemo, is a multifaceted personality on the Swiss music scene. Born on 3 August 1999 in Biel, Nemo has established himself not only as a talented musician, but also as a symbol of diversity. By winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö with the song "The Code", Nemo made history as the first openly non-binary person to win this competition.
Nemo's musical journey began early; at the age of ten, he was already taking lessons at the Biel Children's Opera and played the role of Papageno in "Die Zauberflöte". His talent for rap and songwriting led him to successes such as the EP "Clownfisch", which made it into the Swiss charts in 2015, and the single "Du", which reached the top 4 in 2017.
Today, Nemo lives in Berlin and campaigns for LGBTQIA+, seeing it as his mission to "build bridges between cultures and generations". Nemo's artistic vision and his commitment to social issues make him an inspiring figure far beyond the boundaries of music.
