Caribou is the musical project of Canadian musician and producer Dan Snaith. Originally from Dundas, Ontario, Snaith has established himself as an innovative artist in the electronic music scene since the early 2000s. Known for his fusion of electronica, psychedelia and indie pop, Caribou has gained worldwide recognition.
His debut album "Start Breaking My Heart" was released in 2001 under the name Manitoba. After a legal name change, the album "The Milk of Human Kindness" (2005) followed. The breakthrough came with "Andorra" (2007), which won the Polaris Music Prize, and "Swim" (2010), which is known for the hit "Odessa".
