Jake Bugg, whose real name is Jake Edwin Charles Kennedy, is a British singer-songwriter. He was born on 28 February 1994 in Nottingham. Bugg began playing guitar at the age of 12 and performed on the BBC stage at the Glastonbury Festival at the age of 17.
His self-titled debut album "Jake Bugg" was released in October 2012 and reached number one in the UK album charts. Some of the album's best-known songs are "Two Fingers" and "Lightning Bolt". His second album "Shangri La" was released in November 2013. His third album "On My One" was released in June 2016, and his fourth album "Hearts That Strain", which is mainly acoustic, was released in September 2017.
After a break of four years, Bugg released his fifth album "Saturday Night, Sunday Morning" in August 2021. His music shows influences from Oasis, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Everly Brothers, Bob Dylan, Donovan, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Buddy Holly.
