Bradley Simpson is a name that has been recognised in the world of British pop-rock music for quite some time. As the charismatic frontman of the successful band The Vamps, he brought arenas around the world to their feet and gained a lot of attention with the band's debut album. But now, after more than a decade of success together, Bradley is embarking on a new chapter of his musical journey and embarking on his first tour as a solo artist.
The idea of working on a solo project had been maturing for about two years. Bradley had written some songs that were so personal that they only worked as solo pieces: intimate, diary-like insights into very personal experiences, rich with precise details that could only be written down after they had been lived through. Bradley's first solo single "Cry At The Moon", released about a month ago, set the standard for what was to follow. "That was the catalyst for the whole project," recalls the 28-year-old. "I knew I wanted to delve into the last ten years and talk about things I hadn't written about before, be it personal experiences or relationships. In a way, it was like a kind of therapy, as there were a lot of ups and downs during that time."
