In an era where viral hits are ubiquitous on TikTok, the bands behind the songs often remain in the shadows. But not Tommy Lefroy. With their song "The Cause", the duo captured the hearts of many indie fans during the 2021 coronavirus pandemic, and their success has grown inexorably ever since. Having already performed as a support act for Niall Horan, the band are now about to embark on their own major tour of Europe.
Tommy Lefroy is the soft rock project of songwriters Wynter Bethel and Tessa Mouzourakis, who are based in both Los Angeles and London. Their journey began in Nashville, Tennessee, where the two women met at songwriting sessions and house parties and spontaneously struck up a friendship. Driven by the desire to tell their own stories, they eventually decided to form a band together. A message from Wynter in Tessa's DMs - and Tommy Lefroy was born.
