LEONIDEN announce their fourth album "Sophisticated Sad Songs" with their brand new single "Never Never", which will be released on 23 August 2024. From October, they will embark on a European tour with the same name.

These unforgettable live moments have always been at the centre of the band's DNA and have made LEONIDEN more and more popular from festival to festival.
With their new album "Sophisticated Sad Songs", LEONIDEN transform collective unease into communal euphoria - a paradox that they have mastered perfectly. The songs of the five-piece ensemble from Kiel, consisting of Lennart and Felix Eicke, Jakob Amr, Marike Winkelmann and Djamin Izadi, always seem to be surrounded by a veil of enthusiasm, are extremely danceable and made for the biggest stages. Nevertheless, they often convey negative, world-wearied thoughts on a lyrical level, which find expression in a collective dance frenzy.
