At just 27 years old, Marcus King has already achieved more than many other artists do in a lifetime. After an impressive start to his musical career as frontman of The Marcus King Band and the successful release of three albums, all of which landed in the top 10 of the Billboard Blues Charts, the guitarist and singer decided to launch his solo career at the age of just 23. His first solo album "El Dorado" was nominated for Best Americana Album at the 63rd Grammy Awards in 2021, and his subsequent work "Hard Working Man" even reached number 1 in the Billboard Blues Charts. Through worldwide headline tours and appearances as a special guest opening for artists such as Chris Stapleton, The Avett Brothers and Greta Van Fleet, Marcus King has established himself as the leading voice of a new generation in the Americana genre, which is far removed from a dusty country image. In June 2024, Marcus King returns to Germany to present his latest solo material to an enthusiastic audience.
