Camouflage is a German synth-pop band that was founded in the 1980s and is known for its unique blend of electronic sounds, catchy melodies and melancholic lyrics. The band consists of the members Heiko Maile, Marcus Meyn and Oliver Kreyssig.
Their debut album "Voices & Images" from 1988 brought Camouflage international success and made them one of the most influential synth-pop bands of their time. With hits such as "The Great Commandment" and "Love is a Shield", they conquered the charts and significantly shaped the sound of the 1980s.
In the following decades, the band released a series of albums, including "Methods of Silence" (1989), "Meanwhile" (1991) and "Sensor" (2003), which cemented their status as a force to be reckoned with in the electronic music scene. They constantly experimented with new soundscapes while remaining true to their unmistakable style.
