John Grant

John Grant, a Michigan-born artist, has undergone a remarkable evolution, from the turmoil of his youth to a creative flourishing in music. His early works reflected his insecurities and search for a place in the world. Despite initial rejection of his sexuality by his Methodist family and personal challenges such as anxiety and addiction, he ultimately found solace and expression in music.

He first gained international recognition as the frontman of the Czars before deciding to go solo. His debut album "The Queen of Denmark" from 2010 was critically acclaimed for its poignant portrayal of addictions and sexual identities.
